What's New 2009 Abraham Lincoln High School Book Award Reading List Waiting lists are already being started for these 22 books that been selected as the top books for teens this year. Just let Mrs. Robinson know when you have finished one. When you have read four you are qualified to vote in the state-wide vote in March of 2009.

GHS students must have their I.D. card to check out materials. Books circulate for three weeks and may be renewed. Reserve materials, SIRS articles, and vertical file pamphlets circulate for one week and can be renewed. Five items may be checked out at one time. Fine are $0.10 per day for regular materials and $0.30 per day for reserve materials. Fines will stop at $3.00 per book. Students may not check out if they have overdue materials or fines. |

Online Library Catalog Destiny makes it easy to find the books you need at your GHS library. You can access Destiny from any school computer as well as at home on the internet. Destiny will allow you to create your own booklists, view your own record, and place books on hold. Check it out today!

There are 14 Dell computers in the LC for student use. Students can use the computers before and after school, during lunch and advisory, and during class time with a pass from a teacher. The PC Lab is adjacent to the library and has twenty-six PC's. The lab is for classroom use only. Teachers must sign up in the library for their class to use the lab.
