What's New 2008 Abraham Lincoln Illinois High School Book Award Waiting lists are already being started for these 22 books that been selected as the top books for teens this year. Just let Mrs. Robinson know when you have finished one. When you have read four you are qualified to vote in the state-wide vote in March of 2008.

GHS students must have their I.D. card to check out materials. Books circulate for two weeks and may be renewed. Reserve materials, SIRS articles, and vertical file pamphlets circulate for one week and can be renewed. Five items may be checked out at one time. Fine are $0.10 per day for regular materials and $0.30 per day for reserve materials. Fines will stop at $2.00 per book. Students may not check out if they have overdue materials or fines. |

| The GHS Learning Center provides Interlibrary Loan services in order to ensure that students and staff have access to books and materials that the Learning Center doesn't own. There are eleven computers in the LC for student use. There are seven IBM computers and four IMACs. Students can use the computers before and after school, during lunch and advisory, and during class time with a pass from a teacher. The PC Lab is adjacent to the library and has twenty-six PC's. The lab is for classroom use only. Teachers must sign up in the library for their class to use the lab. |
